Dirty Water

Apr 16, 2010 12:33 AM

When you surf in Southern California, there are several challenges. The water's never warm enough, the crowds are always dense, shark sightings abundant and of course, water quality is perpetually terrible. With 15 million people living 'up-river' from our waves, it's no wonder the water is gross.

Thankfully and in part to the work of organizations like Surfrider Foundation and Heal the Bay we're on an upswing both of awareness to the problem and building infrastructure to help solve the problem.

Now that Earth Day is upon us, I hope we can all come together and give back to the oceans we love.

Donate, Volunteer, Recycle... do what you can. Without our help, the sea we love will disappear.

The next big software update for iPhone is coming sometime in April and will include a Food section in Apple News+, an easy-to-miss new Ambient Music app, Priority Notifications thanks to Apple Intelligence, and updates to apps like Mail, Photos, Podcasts, and Safari. See what else is coming to your iPhone with the iOS 18.4 update.
